We are a youth basketball organization in Freeport, FL. We strive to teach the basics and fundamentals of the game. Our goal is to eventually have 1 or 2 teams competing at each age group starting in 2025. We want to grow each team and see the progress they can make as a group. So our goal is to have minimal team turnover year over year. Most AAU teams have tryouts and replace the weak players with stronger ones as their method of improvement. We like to see the kids grow as a unit and the improvement comes from the players year over year. We currently have a 9th-10th grade team for 2024. This group started as 5th and 6th graders--didn't win many games the first few years--but last year they won about 50% and this year the goal is 75%. Most of the improvement is playing together and the kids HARD WORK!
